Qualcuno sa leggere il sistema di datazione nelle lattine di Pease? Il 18 finale immagino sia l'anno, ma il resto?

Avevo pensato anch'io così, e tornerebbe con la data di acquisto, solo che mi sembrava cervellotico mischiare alla rinfusa giorno, mese e anno. Però gli anglosassoni sono per natura cervellotici (basta pensare al sistema di punteggio del tennis) e quindi ci sta.

Quella datazione è banale, guardati quella di S. Gawith ;D

Essentially it goes like this. The date code is five digits, with the first two being the day and the final three being the month (starting at December 1995). So that first code for the 1st of December, 1995 would have been 01 001. Today's code, for the 14th of July, 2017 would be 14 260.
I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.

Nel frattempo ho trovato su internet: sì, in effetti la datazione va letta come ha detto Samael (mese, giorno, anno).
